This business was losing some £4,000,000 pa and was in danger of going out of business.

The initial strategy was simple:

Complete business review

  • Renegotiate all supplier contracts

  • Restructure all staffing

  • Write new marketing strategy

  • Improve opportunities for secondary spend

 

Create differentiation between 2 sites

  • Howletts as a breeding sanctuary 

  • Port Lympne as a Resort

 

From the earliest development, Livingstone Lodge - the UK’s first overnight safari experience -through to Bear Lodge, The Mansion Hotel, Pinewood camping pods and the UK’s first Treehouse Hotel

More recent developments include; Tiger Lodge, Hog Deer Creek, Wolf Lodge, Rhino Lodge, Forest Hideaway and The Bubble as well as two more in the pipeline, Lion Hall and Giraffe Manor. 

These developments also required creation of new catering outlets including; Baby Dolls – Italian wood fired Pizza restaurant, Pinewood caféBase camp and The Mansion restaurant
